ENFORCEMENT OF DRESS CODE POLICY
The administration has noticed that some students in past years have been drifting away from the dress code policies stated in this handbook:
• Navy blue is the required color of uniform pants and shorts for Kindergarten – 5th grade. 6th-12th students may wear khaki or navy blue.
• All pants must be worn with a belt; therefore all pants must have belt loops.
• The pants style that is referred to in this handbook can be found at Educational Outfitters.
• Pants cannot have multi-pockets other than the traditional pockets and should not have elastic on the waistband or ankles.
• Shorts cannot be multi-pocket or utility shorts. They must also be worn with a belt.
• Ladies/girls must wear uniform shorts/pants from Educational Outfitters and cannot be skin tight or made of a stretchy fabric.
Enforcement of these policies will be consistent by the faculty, staff, and administration; and non-compliance by the students will result in stiff penalties based on number of times the offense occurs. Penalties will range from detention to in-school suspension for multiple offenses and being sent home to change. Discipline procedures will be made available to students and parents.
